Leadership Movies

Purpose of Movies

"The best executive is one who has sense enough to pick good people to do what he wants done and self-restrain enough to keep from meddling with them while they do it."
-Theodore Roosevelt

The purpose of the movies is to give students a chance to see leadership and familiarize themselves with different styles of, and approaches to, leadership. The movies educate the student and provide an alternative to studying the chapters.

Movie review websites

We would like the students to be able to know a little about the movie before they chose to watch it, so we have provided some sites that will direct students to reviews on any movie that they chose.

Links to movie trailers

We want the students to be able to watch a trailer of the movie before they chose to view it, that way they determine if this movie really appeals to their interests in leadership or not.

Student Reviews

  • Have students write and post their own reviews on the movies they have watched, for other students to see.
  • These Reviews could be posted on WebCTVista as discussion groups, and monitored by the teacher.
  • We suggest having a link to a MySpace website in which students can leave reviews for others to view.
