Health Program
The health education program covers a wide range of health topics. Pamphlets and other educational materials are available to students at Student Health Services. The Campus Health Educator also provides educational opportunities in the form of on-campus programming and presentations. Examples of on-campus programming include Alcohol Awareness Week, Healthy Heart Month and Safe Spring Break Week.
The Health Educator also is available for small group presentations in classrooms and to Greek chapters, athletic teams, Corps companies, and dorm halls. Presentation topics include:
- Alcohol/Drug Education
- Nutrition & Weight Management
- Physical Fitness
- Tobacco Education
- Self-Care/ Hygiene
- Healthy Relationships
- Sexuality Issues/STDs
- Communication Skills
- Any other Health Topic you feel your students need
To schedule your health education program or presentation please complete the Health Education Program Request Form and return it to Laura Balkcom in Student Health Services.
